Bargaining Update

Arbitration Update - 31 July 2025

We want to provide an important update regarding our ongoing arbitration process. While the arbiter was formulating a decision, the City has submitted a counteroffer of a 3.22% wage increase. PAGE countered with a proposal of 3.25%, which the city accepted.

This pay increase will be in addition to the step increase that is already in effect for all general service employees. In addition, all previously negotiated Tentative Agreements (TAs) will be incorporated into the final contract.

This marks a positive step forward in securing a fair agreement for all members. We will share the full contract language as soon as it is finalized.

Tentative Agreements

Increased pay for Police dispatchers and CDL trainers while training

Increased shift differential pay

Increased tool allowance.

We were successful in getting Community Service Officers and employees of the Real Time Crime center techs added to the CBA.

Development of contract language for PEOPLE contributions

At this time, 6/2/2025, we are scheduled for arbitration on wages on July 11, 2025.

This page will be updated as we reach agreement with the City.

As of August 28, 2025 - We are waiting on the attorneys to finalize the paperwork, incorporate all agreed-upon changes into the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), and prepare a final version that will replace the current CBA. We have been advised that this process could take place anytime between now and December.
