Committee Corner Safety Committee – workplace safety review and awareness. With the season changing and cooler months approaching, let’s stay mindful of workplace safety basics: Slips, Trips & Falls: Watch for wet floors, cluttered walkways, and cords. Proper Lifting: Bend at the knees, not the back. Ask for help when lifting heavy objects. PPE: Use gloves, masks, or other safety gear where required. Reporting Hazards: Don’t ignore unsafe conditions—report them immediately. Safety is everyone’s responsibility. Staying alert protects us all. Union Business This month is especially important for PAGE Union Elections are here! We’ll be voting on the following positions: Executive Vice President, currently held by Clyde Bishop. Secretary, currently an open position Why it matters:  Elections give members a direct voice in shaping the future of our union. Strong leadership ensures we continue to protect fair wages, workplace safety, and the rights of every member. How you can participate: Nominate yourself or a fellow member who is ready to serve. Attend the September 18th meeting to finalize nominations and cast your vote. Show your support by being present, engaged, and voting. Every voice and every vote matters. Let’s stand together and make this election count!

Halloween Event – We Need Your Input! This year, PAGE Union will be hosting a Halloween Social – a two-hour event with food, fun, and a costume contest! We’d like your help choosing a theme. Do you prefer: Classic Spooky? Movie Characters? Superheroes vs. Villains? Or something totally new?
